Training offers

Electronics technician for devices and systems (training starts 2024)

If you look around your home, there’s hardly a room that doesn’t have some kind of electrical device in it. From the washing machine to the computer, the smallest components have been installed and programmed everywhere to keep everything running. But not only in our households, but also in the technical  equipment in hospitals hospitals, airplanes, streetcars and large industrial plants, many things only run electronically nowadays. Who actually makes sure that everything runs smoothly? With an apprenticeship as an electronics technician for systems, you can become one of them.

Electronics technician for devices and systems (training starts 01.08.2023) are true all-rounders when it comes to technical devices. They not only create components and small parts, but they can also program and maintain systems. So you are dealing with a very diverse profession that requires both your head and your hands. Your work starts with the smallest parts: You build prototypes and equip circuit boards with the necessary elements. You need a lot of intuition, because you need to work precisely with tweezers and special pliers. But your tasks also include assembling elements and soldering.

In addition to the practical tasks, you will also be involved in many organizational and planning activities. Since you will often be working as part of a team, processes must be coordinated with each other so that no time is wasted and everything fits together well. Because when deadlines have to be met, there is sometimes pressure on electronics technicians – so it can also happen that you have to work weekends. Because technology is developing rapidly, it is important that you continue your education – and you’ll need English for that, too, because most technical journals and information are only available in that language. Once everything is in place, you move from detailed work to the big picture. As an electronics technician for devices and systems, you also learn how to work with software. You install the necessary programs to ensure that the technical devices function, work properly, and configure networks. As an expert in software and hardware, you can coordinate both levels perfectly. You will often work with technicians and engineers to find the right solution for projects. You also interact with customers, who want to receive professional and friendly advice.

Training as a microtechnologist

How can cell phones store more and more photos and apps? Why are notebooks are getting lighter and more powerful? All this is possible because of tiny microchips. They form the “heart” of modern technical devices such as smartphones, laptops, cars and spaceships. Microtechnologists produce microchips, which are smaller than a square centimeter but deliver incredible performance.
In the microsystems technology training focus, electronic and optical components as well as non-electronic components by soldering, micro-wire bonding or gluing are mounted and sealed on the printed circuit board. The production is carried out manually or fully automatically. An important part of your work is the testing of the products for quality control. Since the surface is often no wider than a human hair, any speck of dust can destroy the grain of dust can destroy the microchip. For this reason, microtechnologists work in
clean room in dust-free air. Would you like to be involved in the technical progress of our cell production and in the development of new sensors? Then take your chance and do an apprenticeship as a microtechnologist at PRIGNITZ Mikrosystemtechnik GmbH and strengthen our young team. Our company portfolio is composed of the development, manufacturing and the distribution of sensors with high quality and reliability, local intelligence and customized solutions in the field of pressure, level and temperature.

Training as a cutting machine operator

If you’re looking for a technical, skilled occupation, you should definitely think about becoming a cutting machine operator. Here you will very quickly have the possibility of good career prospects if you are interested in mechanical engineering machine technology, have achieved good results in the factory lessons/classes and like to work very precisely. Because precision is the top priority for the precision is the top priority for machinists when they produce components that are installed in machines, vehicles and airplanes or are delivered as screws and brackets to the home for sale in home improvement stores. Machinists produce precision components by processes such as turning, drilling, milling or grinding. For this purpose, they usually use so-called CNC machine tools, i.e. computer-controlled machines. This means that even complex parts can be can be produced very precisely and automatically. As a cutting machine operator, you need good math and geometry skills. You should be able to calculate lengths, areas and volumes. Machinists put individual components into complete assemblies. Machinists have to carry out regular quality checks and monitor the production process. They are also responsible for maintenance and repair work.
